Chabad is embarking on an exciting new chapter — the creation of a 4,000 sq. ft. permanent center that will serve as a vibrant hub for Jewish life, learning, and community connection. This state-of-the-art facility will allow us to expand our reach and impact for generations to come.
Our Vision
- Create permanency in a home environment — a welcoming space for every Jew.
- Better serve students, faculty, and the greater community through expanded programming and resources.
- Attract more participation in Jewish learning, holiday celebrations, and cultural events.
- Provide a permanent residence for the Rabbi, Rebbetzin, and their growing family.
- Expand our programming capacity for every segment of the Jewish community.
The Project
Location: 618 W. 147th Street — a beautiful brownstone in the heart of our community.
This multi-level space will include:
- Chabad Shul & Multi-Purpose Room for services, classes, and events.
- Dining Room & Kitchen for Shabbat and holiday meals.
- Parsonage Residence for the Rabbi and family.
- Outdoor Terrace for gatherings and celebrations.
Campaign Goal
The total project cost is $375,000. Thanks to a generous benefactor, a $125,000 matching grant will be unlocked once we raise $250,000. Every dollar you give now will go twice as far in bringing this dream to life.
This new home will provide financial stability for Chabad and enable us to grow our programs, ensuring a stronger, more vibrant Jewish future in our community.
